The Department of ENT and Head and Neck Surgery, in collaboration with the Department of Anatomy, MGMCRI, Puducherry, organized a Cadaveric Workshop on Head and Neck Surgeries, in association with AOI, Puducherry Chapter on 20th January 2023 under the guidance of the Organizing Chairman Prof. Karthikeyan P, and Organizing Secretary, Prof Vijayasundaram S. The main aim of the workshop is to enhance the understanding of the intricate anatomy of the head and neck region while providing hands-on training using cadaveric specimen. Participants, including surgeons and postgraduate students, practiced advanced surgical techniques under the expertise of renowned faculty such as Dr C. Rayappa, Senior consultant, Dr D.Sriprakash, Dr S.Kannan, Consultants, Apollo cancer centre. An interesting and interactive lecture session was conducted by Dr. S Anand, ENT consultant & Head and neck surgeon, Westmead & Napeaen Hospital, Sydney during which he explored the different aspects of management of parotid tumors. Overall, this event featured both interesting academic sessions and case discussions, as well as hands on clinical skills training, offering a unique blend of theoretical knowledge and practical experience, allowing ENT students and consultants to refine their practical expertise.
