The IMA Cuddalore Branch, in collaboration with the AOI Puducherry Chapter and Micro Labs Limited, organized an insightful CME program at Le Pondy Resorts, Puducherry on 21.11.2021. The event featured two expert-led sessions on critical topics in ENT care. Dr. R. Muthukumar, Director and Professor at UIORL, Madras Medical College, Chennai, delivered an informative lecture on the “Management of Chronic Rhinosinusitis and AFRS”. He focused on the latest treatment strategies for chronic rhinosinusitis, the importance of accurate diagnosis, and advanced surgical and medical interventions. The second session, “Allergic Rhinitis – An Update”, was presented by Dr. M. Gowri Shankar, Professor and Head of the Department of ENT, Stanley Medical College, Chennai. He provided a comprehensive update on the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and management of allergic rhinitis, highlighting new treatment modalities and approaches for improving patient outcomes. The session was well-received by attendees, including ENT specialists and postgraduate students, who engaged in enriching discussions and case-based learning. The program provided an excellent platform for healthcare professionals to deepen their understanding of the subject. The expert insights offered valuable updates on the latest diagnostic and treatment approaches and the engaging discussions fostered a collaborative learning environment enriching the knowledge of all attendees.
